Man's Body Found In Greenford

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances

Police were called at 15:40hrs on Friday, 23 February to reports of a man's body found close to Costons Lane in Greenford.

Locals report that the body was discovered by schoolchildren and believe it may be a homeless man who had been sleeping in a tent, but this has not been confirmed.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious. Officers are in the process of contacting next of kin.
