Pedestrian Injured by Car in Greenford

Transported by air ambulance to hospital

A man's been airlifted to hospital after being knocked down on Greenford Broadway.

The accident happened on Saturday (29th June) at around 2pm.

The man - thought to be in his 50s - was treated at the scene and then moved by air to the Royal Free Hospital suffering with leg and head injuries.

The road was closed for some time causing disruption in the area - which was already busy for the Greenford Carnival.
