Hanwell Rugby Football Club are proud to announce that Astrologer, television star and author, Mr Russell Grant has joined the club as Honorary Club President.

Russell has been an active supporter of both Middlesex and all sport within the county. He is also the President and Patron of the Middlesex Federation (you can find details of which here).

Amongst Russell's commitments to rugby within the county, he kindly donated the Middlesex Federation Vase to Middlesex RFU - a competition Hanwell have thrived in over our first two seasons.

Russell is also a big football fan and has supported Brentford FC since a child (and helped design the club badge!). He also actively promotes non-league teams within Middlesex County.

Speaking about joining Hanwell RFC, Russell said;

"As a long time supporter of all grassroots sport within Middlesex County, I am pleased and proud to accept the role of Honorary Club President of Hanwell Rugby Football Club. Although a relatively new club, Hanwell RFC have thrived on the passion and commitment of the communities of Hanwell, Northfields & Brentford, who will no doubt support the club as they expand into minis and school age rugby in the near future."

Hanwell RFC are confident that working alongside Mr Grant, we will be able to grow as a club and help support other local sports within the area.
