It's been the go to flower stall for many Northfields' residents for years but now, sadly, it's gone.

Mags Petite Fleur  has been a much loved fixture on the forecourt outside the tube station.

Residents have regularly praised the flowers, plants and annual Christmas trees.

Owner, Kate Marti, says in JanuaryTfL gave her a fortnight's notice terminating her trading licence.

She says she tried contacting TfL but had no response so has had to move to her workshop at home. Customers have been informed and she is trying to spread the word that she is still in business, but is nevertheless upset.

She says: '' It's such a shame as we started the stall in memory of my mum who past 12 years ago and friends, bonds and rapports have been made over the years. I have cried so many tears and every time I get a nice message from a customer I am in tears again.''

Ms Marti says she is still taking orders over the phone ( 0800 0283808 07779 645793) and is hoping to get a workshop close to Ealing as soon as possible.

She adds that she doesn't want to make a fuss, and it still may be possible that she could move back to the station, but wonders if the move has come at the right time and that this maybe a new chapter in her life .

Despite her sadness she says she has been helped by the response from customers, she says she has been inundated by messages:

'' The local community are a supportive bunch. It's filled my heart with warmth.''

TfL say they can't talk about specific cases but in January letters were sent out to tenants across the network who were in rent arrears - giving them 14 days to sort out their accounts.

TfL say they are always willing to work with and support local businesses.
