Aspiring filmmakers in Ealing are hoping to raise funds to realise their short film dream.

The Met Film students have launched a kickstarter campaign to finance ' All about the Moon' a film about Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder.

The group want to represent it as authentically as possible on the screen, trying to capture the realistic issues and situations that come from not just having the disorder but also the people affected.

It tells the fictional story of 23-year-old Marlon Maysen, a former student confined within the walls of St-Henri Mental Health Center who tries to break free.

Théo Panagia, writer and director of the short film said: '' All About the Moon is a project that I have been developing for more than one year. Working alongside professionals to help and advise me on DID. This gave me the will to create an honest piece of work about the issues of representing the disorder”

You can find out more about their project on their Kickstarter Page.
