A Northolt DJ has secured a coveted place at one of London's prestigious drama schools - based in Ealing.

Competition for students at the Drama Studio is exceptionally high, with hundreds of applicants and only 12 places - alumni includes Emily Watson, Adrian Lukis, Enzo Cilenti and Forest Whitaker.

Former DJ, Felix Brunger, was brought up in Borneo, Singapore, Oman and the U.A.E, and trained in the Miesner technique for 16 weeks at The Actor's Temple.

He says: '' It was a complete roller coaster but I loved every second. On completion, I went out fresh into the industry and had the good fortune of being cast in many professional projects. Significant highlights included the one-man show, ‘The Anorak’, 'My Favourite Madman' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and short film 'In Retrospect'.''

He's already appeared in TV commercials, on stage and film and is hoping to further develop his training on a postgraduate course at the esteemed Drama Studio in W5 with the intention of setting up his own production company and writing and producing his own work .

Drama Studio London was founded in 1966 by actor/director Peter Layton and in the early years the one-year programme ran from a church hall in Putney.  The school has since massively expanded, is fully accredited and well respected within the industry and based at Grange Court on Grange Road in Ealing.
