700 pupils and staff from Featherstone Primary School in Ealing joined the nation and fell silent at 11am on Armistice Day.

The school has a war memorial paid for by local people and unveiled in 1921 to commemorate the 221 pupils from Featherstone Boys' School who died fighting in WW1.

All of the 221 names are inscribed on the memorial.

The children had made their own wreaths and laid them at the foot of the memorial.

At 11am on 11/11 the whole school joined the nation, listened to The last post and remembered the fallen and paid tribute during two minutes' silence.
