Rebecca and Andy

The Ealing Restaurant Awards were co-founded by EatInEaling run by Rebecca Hamano Cabot, and Andy Gittens, Sales Manager at Debaere, Ealing based patisserie and cake suppliers. Both Andy and Rebecca live and work in Ealing, and have a passion for independent restaurants, and visit each restaurant entered in the competition.

Rebecca said: ''Ealing is often overlooked in guides, other awards or by the general London public. It really is one of London’s hidden gems for food, so we decided to set up the awards toshowcase the restaurants, and to help them to reach a wider audience.”

Andy agreed:“We wanted to make The Ealing Restaurant Awards all about connecting independent restaurants, and sponsors with the local and London community, and offering as much support and awareness as possible. The general public get to be judges, and vote for and support their favourite restaurants. It’s a great initiative that gets everyone involved and helps to maintain true independent diversity on our high streets.”

The Ealing Restaurant Awards are the only awards honoring and focusing on restaurants within the area.
