The invited guests were greeted with food and drink and entertainment in the form of exceptionally talented classical musicians performing throughout the building.

Guests were directed into the state of the art performance hall for an excerpt from the school’s recent production of Bugsy Malone before speeches from the Headteacher, Chair of Governors and Clare Balding. Following her speech, Clare then unveiled the commemorative plaque, cut the ribbon and officially opened the building.
