The Ealing Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday 27th September 2020 and entries are now open.

Early bird fees are currently offering runners the lowest prices to take part in this multi award-winning, sell out race.

Set up as a legacy to London’s Olympic Games, Ealing Half Marathon is a firm fixture in the autumn race calendar and a big favourite among the running community. Each year the event attracts runners from many different countries worldwide, all wanting to soak up the celebratory atmosphere and experience the famous #EalingFeeling.

The opening of entries for Ealing Half Marathon 2020 follows a highly successful event in 2019, which once again proved to be an incredible day of community support and running achievements.

Ealing Half Marathon starts and finishes in Lammas Park and the 13.1-mile course takes in the leafy streets and parks of Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens. It is West London’s only closed road half marathon and support for the race is second-to-none, with thousands of spectators lining the streets each year to cheer on the runners. The event also attracts a number of high-profile partners and sponsors to provide the very best race experience for runners.

The four official race charities for 2020 are Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support and Meadow House Hospice Ealing.

All entries received for Ealing Half Marathon 2020 will help the race continue in its mission to invest in initiatives and community projects throughout West London, thanks to the community arm of the race. EHM Legacy CIC is dedicated to educating children and adults about the benefits of activity on physical and mental health, and every race fee ensures that more can be invested to provide sport and fitness for all.

Saturday 26th September will see the return of the highly popular Ealing Mini Mile, entries for which will open shortly.

The 2019 Ealing Half Marathon was won by Jonathan Poole (for the third consecutive year) in a time of 1:10:14 and Lucie Custance in a time of 1:19:03.

Sandra Courtney, Race Director, commented, “We are delighted to announce that the 2020 Ealing Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 27th September. We are offering a superb early bird rate and are proud that for the fourth year there will be no increase in fees for the race. The sooner you book the more you save, so we would encourage anyone wanting to experience the #EalingFeeling to secure their place now. We are looking forward to welcoming runners old and new to the ninth edition of the race.”

The 2020 Ealing Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 27th September. Early bird entries are open and cost £38 (affiliated) / £40 (unaffiliated).

Price rises are tiered between now and August 2020.
