Volunteers Sought to Help Out at Ealing Half Marathon |
|
Any one helping out gets free entry for next year and a chance to win prizes
The organisers of this year’s Ealing Half Marathon are calling for local people to volunteer to help out. They need residents to step forward to carry out key roles both on Saturday 24 September when the Ealing Mini Mile takes place and for the 10th Ealing Half Marathon on Sunday 25 September. On Saturday there are only a small number of roles but on Sunday there will be a large number of people needed to set up, act as Team Leaders/Deputies, be route marshals, man water stations, look after baggage and marshal the race village. Each registered volunteer who completes their role will receive: Volunteers would be needed for 6 hours on Saturday and 4-6 hours on Sunday depending on the role taken. The organisers are also really keen to hear from Community Groups, Clubs & Charities who can organise a team of volunteers. Click here if you can spare the time to help out. The Ealing Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 25 September starting and finishing in Lammas Park. Use code RUN20EHM22 to save 20% and book now to grab this limited time offer.
