Police need help identifying a man they would like to speak to after a woman was punched in the face in Ranelagh Road, W5.

On Thursday 15 March at approximately 15:40hrs, the victim, an 26 year old woman, was on her way home when she noticed the suspect walking along the street carrying some of her property.

She challenged him and attempting to get her property back but the man punched her in the face and ran off.

Police would like to speak to a man who is described as being a white man, aged around 40, approx 5'9" tall. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black rain jacket, blue jean and black trainers.

Officers from Ealing CID are investigating the assault and have released a picture of the man they would like to identify in connection with this enquiry.

Detective Constable Jaspal Bains said: "We are very keen to speak to the man as described by the E-Fit and ask for anyone who knows who or where he is to contact us.
