Money raised will got to Rainbow Trust Children's Charity

Ealing Choral Society’s ever-popular carol concert will take place this year on Saturday 17 December. The choir hopes to raise much needed funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which supports families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

Everyone is welcome to attend this festive evening at St Barnabas Church, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing at 7pm. The audience will enjoy singing much-loved carols and there will also be readings from Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers and a poem from a sibling of one of the families it supports.

BBC Journalist and Broadcaster John Sergeant and MP for Ealing North Steve Pound will also be reading seasonal pieces. The evening will be rounded off with drinks and mince pies. Tickets cost £12 for adults and £6 for those aged 16 and under.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides expert social palliative care to families when their child has a life threatening or terminal illness.  Rainbow Trust has nine care teams across England, including two in London, supporting families with seriously ill children at home, in hospital and in the community, to help make their lives a little easier.

Rainbow Trust is a national charity which offers emotional and practical support for the whole family; from their child’s diagnosis, during treatment and, if needed, through bereavement and beyond. It relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and thanks to its generous supporters helps over 2,000 families in England.
