Incident happened during Monday's rush hour
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman said: “BTP officers were called to Ealing Common London Underground (LU) station on Monday, 3 February after a report that a man had been struck by a westbound Piccadilly line train. “Officers from BTP and the Metropolitan Police Service attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 7.23am. “Medics from the London Ambulance Service also attended and the man, aged 23 and from Hornsey, was taken to hospital. “The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious." The line was handed back to London Underground at 7.49am.
