Crossrail building work could mean some nightime disturbances for neighbours

A warning has been issued that sound levels around Ealing Broadway station may increase from this weekend due to building activity for Crossrail.

From 10.30pm Saturday 7 April until 6am Monday 16th April overnight works will take place involving concrete pumping and excavation.

Hoardings will be in place to try and mitigate the disruption but Crossrail say, ''While the levels of disruption will vary, there will be periods of intense activity. We understand that some of these works may cause disruption for neighbours in the vicinity. However, we will endeavour to minimise any impacts on local residentsa nd briefings will be provided to those working on site about the need be considerate to our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum wherever possible.''
