A man has died after been hit by a train at Ealing Broadway station on Tuesday morning (24 November).

London Ambulance Service were called at 11.23am to reports of a person under a train at the station.

They say, “We sent a number of resources including a London Air Ambulance, but sadly the patient was found dead at the scene.”

A British Transport Police spokesman said, "Our officers were called to Ealing Broadway rail station on Tuesday, 24 November to reports of a person hit by a train.

"Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

"A man was pronounced dead at the scene and officers will now work to identify the man and inform his family.

"A file will be prepared for the coroner. His death is not being treated as suspicious."

Delays to the service to and from Paddington station continued into the afternoon.
