Man Dies After Being Hit By Train at Ealing Broadway

Fourth reported fatality in last four months

A man's been killed after being hit by a train at Ealing Broadway.

First Great Western said it happened at 1.40pm yesterday (Wed 15th October) causing cancellations and delays to trains to Paddington.

British Transport Police, the Metropolitan Police Service and London Ambulance Service attended - the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said:

“His death is not being treated as suspicious. Officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family. A file will be prepared for the coroner.''

It's the fourth fatality on the line in the last four months.
