Local secondary has secured permanent site in Little Ealing Lane

Ealing Fields School, which is currently based in temporary accommodation near Elthorne Park, is to become part of the growing Twyford CofE Academies Trust.

Dame Alice Hudson, Executive Headteacher said: ''The addition of Ealing Fields High School to the Twyford Trust fits the strategic aim of growing high quality secondary provision, which parents in our local community will appreciate.

''The Trust has values and approaches which are strongly aligned to those of Ealing Fields and it is gratifying to work with staff to establish the very best opportunities for students as the school moves into its second year of operation, as well as pressing ahead with the exciting plans for the school’s permanent site on Little Ealing Lane.”

Dr Judith Mortell, Chair of Governors at Ealing Fields added “Joining the Twyford CofE Academies Trust will bring strong leadership and stability to the school and give assurance to parents as the school plans its second year of operation in temporary accommodation. In the longer term the school will benefit from a range of established systems and services which it would be impossible for the school to develop on its own.”

Twyford’s Chair of Directors Andrew Bickley commented, “The leadership of Twyford Trust have experience of successfully opening and growing William Perkin CofE High School in Greenford as well as maintaining high standards at Twyford CofE High School with both schools being ranked as outstanding by Ofsted. In parallel with the integration of Ealing Fields we are moving forward with plans for North Twyford CofE High School, so we are very positive about the future of the Twyford CofE Academies Trust.”

The school hopes to be able to move into the King Fahad school site in Little Ealing by September 2019.
