The music has been continuing in Ealing this summer with the fourth year of the Drayton Court Jazz Festival.
The event was set up by local drummer Dick Esmond ( above) following his split with Ealing Council over the Ealing Jazz Festival which he’d co-founded back in 1984.
This year’s Festival also featured an exhibition of the work of John Ross who died earlier this year. Not only a photographer, but the former local councillor and Ealing mayor had documented jazz in Ealing for some 40 years.
