The upcoming exhibition at The William Hobbayne Centre in Hanwell represents the fourth exhibition of my father's work this year, the second at the William Hobbayne Centre.

As well as presenting work from Hanwell and Ealing as before, including sketchbooks and documentary work, I will be broadening the net painting-wise to encompass work produced after he moved to Shropshire in 1983 and also showing examples of crafted work such as sculptures, furniture, mobiles, toys, inventions etc.

Plus documentary material relating to the phenomenal house in Bridgnorth which he almost completely redesigned including the well-documented and broadcasted cave which he carved out by hand to the rear of the house to create living spaces adorned with vaulted arches of brick moulded from the sandstone residue itself.

I am hoping for the same, energetic, enthusiastic and informative exchange with locals, historians and art-lovers as before and hope this goes towards my goal of opening up his work to a wider, hopefully national audience.
