Investigation Underway After Train Derails at Ealing Broadway

District line train carrying passengersderailed as it crossed points

An investigation is underway after a district line train towards Ealing Broadway station derailed last night.

Steve White, District Line Operations Director, said: “Following a signal failure towards the end of service last night, a District line train approaching Ealing Broadway station subsequently became derailed as it crossed a set of points.

“No one was injured in this incident and our engineers are working closely with the Rail Accident Investigation Branch on site to investigate.”

District line services were suspended this morning but have now been reopened.
