Police Called to 'Fruit Fight' in West Ealing

17-year old arrested following incident at Cudi supermarket

There was a heavy police presence in West Ealing last night (11/03) with at least 5 police cars and an ambulance responder called to the scene after a fight broke out in the Cudi supermarket.

Police say they were called at approximately 5.38pm on Sunday, 11 March to reports of violence at the supermarket on Broadway, W13.

A police spokesperson said, ''It's believed two people were throwing fruit outside the shop and two staff members were assaulted when they attempted to intervene. 'A 22-year-old man and 19-year-old female were taken to a west London hospital with minor injuries. They have since been discharged.

''A 17-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and taken to a west London police station. She has since been released under investigation. ''
