Drinks and tobacco products were confiscated from a W13 supermarket last week because taxes hadn't been paid.

Customs and Excise officers and local police closed the Cudi Food Centre on the Broadway for an inspection under Section 139 Customs and excise management act (1979).

Customs & Excise seized: 18.6 Kg of chewing tobacco, 16.8 litres of mixed spirits, 69 litres of Italian wine. All the products seized had non duty paid.
