Crossrail Works May Cause Disruption at Haven Green

Apologies in advance from Network Rail for any disturbance caused

Network Rail will be continuing work at Haven Green during September to facilitate Crossrail. In a letter to residents and locals they write:

To enable construction work to continue at Ealing Broadway station, we need to relocate to the staffcabins in our Haven Greenwork site during September 2016.

To ensure the site is fully set-up before the staff are relocated,we will be working from 08:00 to 18:00 each day, including weekends, up to Monday 19 September.

The site set-up involves the delivery and removal of materials, tarmacking and concreting the compound area, and painting the cabins.

These works should not cause much disturbance, however some noise may be heard from the vibrator plate compactor and vehicle reversing alarms.

Those working on site will be briefed on their obligations to work considerately.

Once the Haven Green set-up is complete, the office will be used to facilitate Crossrail’s Ealing Broadway day and night time works to ensure Crossrail is fully operational by 2019.

We apologise in advance for any disturbance you may experience

Our contractors undertaking the above work are part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which includes minimising any environmental impacts and working to reduce the impact on neighbours and the public.
