Part of Haven Green will be taken over as a work site

Acoustic barriers will be used to limit the impact of any noise and Network Rail say that levels of noise and dust will be consistently monitored to make sure they fall within acceptable limits. There should be deliveries to site will take place during morning and evening rush hours and it has been promised that residents and businesses will receive advance notification letters about work which will have any significant impacts on them. A commitment has been made to fully reinstate Haven Green once the work is complete. Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council, said: “. I encourage everyone who lives near Ealing Broadway station or uses it as part of their daily commute to take this opportunity to find out more about the plans for the station while the improvement works are underway.” From the end of 2017, the station will be run by Transport for London as part of London’s integrated transport network. When Crossrail fully opens in 2019, up to ten Crossrail trains an hour in each direction will serve Ealing Broadway station. August 17, 2015
