Police in Northfields say there has been an increase in household burglaries and are warning residents to stay vigilant.

The Northfield SNT team (@MPSNorthfield) tweeted, The ward is currently experiencing a very unwelcome increase in residential burglaries & we have followed these offences up speaking to victims & neighbours. Please remain vigilant and ensure you take the necessary steps to protect your property & belongings #Northfield

In December there were 7 reported burglaries, 5 robberies and 7 vehicle thefts.

Residents throughout Ealing can find out the level of crime activity in each individual ward and are being urged to tell police what they want them to focus on.

The MPS say, "This is an opportunity to “Voice Your Concerns” for your Ward on the Metropolitan Police website. Please click on the link enter your postcode to select the area you live in, and then scroll down to “Voice Your Concerns”.

Use your three votes to tell the police what you're most concerned about in your local neighbourhood. You can select up to three issues and the poll is anonymous.

Before you vote, remember to click on "SEE MORE" to reveal all of the categories.

Finally, please note that this poll runs monthly and your current concerns should be logged in before 31 January.
