Ealing Half Marathon to Return on 26 September 2021 – If Enough Runners Register Covid-19 restrictions caused the cancellation of the 2020 event. With a cost of £250,000 to mount the event, the organisers need 1,000s of runners to register. Around 5,000 runners normally take part and over the years over £2.5 million has been raised for good causes. The race starts and ends in Lammas Park, West Ealing. More on CAMTAG at: www.camtag.org Covid-19 Second Jab I had my second Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine jab yesterday at Ealing Town Hall. It was very busy and well organised. It seemed strange entering the Town Hall again but pleasing to see it being put to such useful public purpose. Ealing Has More Potholes Than Any Other London Borough In the period 2018 – 2020, 8,850 potholes were recorded on Ealing’s roads. The information came to light after a GoCompare Car Freedom of Information request. Ealing spent just £1.1 million on pothole repairs. The best performing London borough for pothole repairs was Hammersmith & Fulham with just 141 potholes recorded. Eric Leach eric.alan.leach@gmail.com
