An emergency appeal has been made for very specific food to help an Ealing man with life threatening allergies.

Sylvia Newlands' nephew Charlie in Northolt suffers from a variety of health issues and has a serious nut allergy. He can only eat Asda Fusilli pasta, Dolmio smooth tomato sauce and Iceland mince  meat but due to the current crisis these items have been unavailable.

Sylvia has posted her appeal on the Covid 19 Mutual Aid website and speaking to Ealing Today the desperate Aunt said:

'' This is a genuine request, I have proof should you need to verify his allergies. We've been round everywhere and just can't get hold of the right type of pasta, people have kindly offered other brands but it has to be the Asda one as we know that is safe.''

She said she would never ask for something like this in any other circumstances but the family are all desperate and scared and so is begging everyone to check their cupboards and see if they can help. Sylvia says they will travel anywhere to pick up. The items need to be unopened.

So far Asda have been unable to offer any assistance on this matter.

If you can help please call Sylvia 07479909487
or email sey4@ymail.com
