Man Injured After 'Corkscrew' Attack In West Ealing

A man has been attacked and injured by someone wielding what has been described as a corkscrew in West Ealing this Tuesday afternoon (17 September).

The police say that they were called at around 2pm to reports of a man assaulted in Leeland Road, W13.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his thirties, suffering minor injuries. He was taken to hospital as a precaution.

He had been attacked at the location by a man who was in possession of a metal item, described by witnesses as a corkscrew.

A man was arrested on suspicion of GBH a short time later in Southall. He remains in custody.
