A special environmental event will be taking place in Ealing next week.

The Climate Tsunami is a free evening of film, music and conversation, intended to trigger further discussions about what's happening to the planet.

Organisers say: '' Everyone knows that climate change and global warming are happening, the symptoms are only too apparent in wildfires, storms and flooding. But how serious is climate change? What might be the underlying causes driving it? Can it be interrupted?

''The Climate Tsunami event will kick off with a 60 minute film which gives the planet a voice - we discover what it has to say about what is happening and what it is doing about it. This is intended to trigger a facilitated 'town meeting' style discussion, in which hopes, fears and solutions, both local and global can be shared.''

The Climate Tsunami is a family event, Denis Postle is a veteran film-maker, author, activist, and therapist - Nicola Coombe is a local educator, mother, facilitator and teacher with an international reputation, Elmer Postle producer, is a local Craniosacral Therapy practitioner, educator and video producer.
