Councillors in Northfields are urging local residents to get involved and help tidy up their locality.

It's part of a nationwide initiative to clean up the country in preparation for the Queen's 90th birthday.

Councillors David Millican, Theresa Mullins and Fabio Conti have discussed this campaign publicly at the Northfields Ward Forum and with local residents groups and asked them to help identify the worst spots.

They want local residents to join them on Saturday 5 March:

10:00 am Meet South Ealing Station to clean along and behind South Ealing Road

12 noon Meet Northfields Station to clean along and behind Northfields Ave and Blondin Park

2:30pm Meet Boston Manor Station to clean along and behind Boston Parade

Gloves, sacks, hi-vis jackets will be provided and they have arranged Ealing Council to remove all that is collected.
