If you missed the chance to see the bluebells in Perivale Wood, you will get the opportunity to see the wood ( even if all the bluebells are no longer there) courtesy of Ealing Civic Society (ECS).

ECS will again be marking National Civic Day, a national celebration of civic pride, which falls this year on Saturday 16th June

The event will be a visit to Perivale Wood, a 27 acre local nature reserve managed by The Selborne Society founded in 1885 to commemorate the eighteenth century naturalist Gilbert White of Selborne in Hampshire.

The visit will consist of a talk starting at 2 PM on the new Bluebell Centre, the plants, wildlife and archaeology of the area and will be followed by a conducted tour of the reserve.
All are welcome.

The entrance to the reserve is between 34 and 36 Sunley Gardens,
Perivale UB6 7PE which is a short walk northwards from Perivale tube station on the
Central Line.
