Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to following an assault in Ealing.

On Sunday, 21 September 2014, a 26-year-old man was in Bagel Bite, Central Buildings, The Broadway, W5 when he was violently assaulted.

He was punched for no apparent reason and fell to the floor hitting his head on a corner of a table causing a cut to the head. The suspect stamped on the victim’s head as he lay on the floor before fleeing the venue turning south and running down the alleyway by the side of the Red Rooms down to Haven Place and out towards McDonalds.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, around 30 years of age, about 5ft 10in tall, very heavily built with a moustache and wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers.

Detective Constable Steven Constable, Ealing CID, said: “This is a vicious, unprovoked attack on an innocent man leaving him with a nasty cut to the head and a broken nose. I urge anyone who recognises the man in the image to contact police urgently before this man strikes again with potentially a more serious outcome.”
