An Ealing mum who has always had a travel bug is up for a top award.
Cathy Winston has been shortlisted for a Brilliance in Blogging (BIB) award for her travel blog Mummytravels.
Charting her travels with her young daughter, as well as tips, advice and the best products to pack, Cathy’s posts, original photos and video have built a loyal following across the country and around the world.
Cathy says '' I’ve always loved travel and started the blog in 2012 when I became pregnant as everyone assumed I’d have to stop. The idea was to answer the question, can you keep travelling with a baby in tow? My daughter has taken 10 overseas trips before her third birthday, as well as exploring across the UK, so I think that’s a definite yes.''
- The 12 winners in each BiBs category will be announced by Carol Smillie, television presenter, celebrity and cofounder of Diary Doll on Friday 19 June at the BiBs Party & Ceremony in London.
- The Ceremony is part of the BritMums Live, an annual two-day social media conference that takes place at The Brewery on Chiswell Street, London.
- The BiBs shortlist is created by a combination popular votes and an expert BritMums panel. Voting for the shortlist, open to all, takes place through Friday 15 May, after which a list of Finalists is announced. The Winners are chosen by expert category judges.
