Man's Body Pulled From Grand Union Canal in Southall

Police say death is being treated as ' unexplained'

Police were called at 10:10amon Sunday, 24 July to reports of a body in the Grand Union Canal close to Three Bridges, Windmill Lane, Southall.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene and the body of a man was recovered from the water. The man was pronounced dead at 10:43hrs.

At this early stage officers believe they know the identity of the deceased. His next of kin have not yet been informed.


Detectives from Ealing CID are investigating.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
