A man's been killed in a road accident outside Ealing Hospital last night.

Police were called at approximately 21:05hrs on Tuesday, 14 April to reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian in Uxbridge Road, outside Ealing Hospital, Southall.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the pedestrian, a man aged 44, was pronounced dead at the scene at 21:26hrs.

Next of kin have been informed; formal identification awaits.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at Fulham Mortuary on Wednesday, 15 April. The driver of the bus stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Alperton investigate.
