Teenager taken to major trauma unit

A 13-year-old boy has multiple injuries after he was hit by a double decker bus in Haven Green near Ealing Broadway this morning.

It happened at around 7.15am.

Ambulance officer David Nicholson (@las_brent) tweeted details of the incident and images:

''An eventful morning. 13 year old male vs bus with multiple injuries. Taken to a major trauma centre.''

A London Ambulance spokeswoman later confirmed:

"We treated him for hip and leg injuries and took him as a priority to St Mary's Hospital major trauma centre."

There have been no arrests.
