Worker Killed in Building Accident in West Ealing

Incident happened at Green Man Lane Estate this morning

A man's died after a floor collapsed at the construction site on the Green Man Lane Estate in West Ealing.

Police say officers were called at 09:25hrs on Friday, 24 July to Singapore Road,to reports of a man injured at a building site.

It was reported that a man was trapped after the floor collapsed at the site of Green Man Phase 2.

London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended. A witness reported seeing the air ambulance trying to land.

Police say a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Executive have been informed.
