Advance Warning Of Ealing Broadway Road Closure

A huge crane's needed for works at the station over the Christmas holiday

The central road hub around Ealing Broadway will be closed from 23rd December until 27th December as major works take place in the ongoing upgrade of the station.

Network Rail will be installing stairs on Platforms 2/3 and a huge 500T crane is needed to reach over the existing station building to lift in the staircase.

The size of the crane and the necessary exclusion zones around it mean a full road closure of The Broadway is needed to complete the work safely.

The roads will be closed to traffic from 18:00 Sunday 23 Dec – 05:00 Thursday 27 Dec.  The footpath will remain open allowing access to residents and shops.

Buses 65, 112, E2, E7, E8, N7 and N11 will be on diversion, others will be picking up at alternative stops.
