What's in a name?

It may be called the Brentford Festival but it's Blondin Park - in Ealing ( mostly) which plays host now and will be doing so next year too.

Held on the first Sunday in September it heralds the end of the summer holidays and is a time for friends and neighbours from Ealing, Brentford and beyond, to catch up over music, food and drink, children's activities and enjoy a host of community and business stalls.

The clouds may have been stormy looking but the rain held off and thousands flocked to the park and had a relaxing, fun day.

The festival has taken place in Blondin Park since 2013 and is organised by a dedicated team of volunteers who are led by local wonderwoman, Linda Massey.

She breathed a huge sigh of relief that it all went so well and told us, '' 7 months to organise and just 3 days of packing up and its all over for another year. My sincere thanks go to everyone who helped make it happen. From the planning stage to the cleaning up, everyone was awesome. Truly exhausted we will all see you back in Blondin on Sunday 3rd September 2017."
