Elthorne High School's still clearing the sugar glass after doubling up as a primary under attack in the second tense episode of Bodyguard on BBC1.

The new Jed Mercurio drama starring Keeley Hawes as the Home Secretary and Richard Madden as her troubled war veteran bodyguard, attracted 6.9 million viewers when it launched on Sunday, making it one of the biggest TV dramas of the year.

The edge-of-the-seat episode involved a terror attack at Heath Bank a ' south London' primary school. A white van with explosives was chased by armed police and driven erratically down a surbuban road which was in fact Southdown Avenue in W7

The children in the playground were rushed indoors and many social media commentators have remarked upon the teacher's ability to not spill their cups of tea amidst the panic.

The third part of the 6 part political thriller will be back on BBC 1 on Sunday night.
