Wow! I'm still smiling as I review the photos of this totally incredible band.

Who’s Next closed the 2019 Ealing Blues Festival on Sunday 21 July, and there really couldn't have been a more fitting end to this fantastic weekend.

Of course Pete Townshend has local connections and The Who played some of their earliest gigs in Ealing and Acton, notably at the Ealing Club opposite Ealing Broadway Station.

The ( real) Who may be back on tour and as 'full throttle' as ever by all accounts, but Who's Next, the boys that commanded the stage at Walpole Park on Sunday night, can put up one equally mega show, perfoming all the hits and entertaining the enthusiastic crowd with Daltrey's scary Microphone swirling ( careful at the front!),and Townshend's trademark windmill arm and 'smashing' guitar at the end!

They've been together 16 years and are regarded as the top Who 'tribute' band and play throughout the UK and Europe.

The photos should tell the story of this excellent night's show in Walpole Park, but I'd just add that they really are top musicians as well as great entertainers so make sure you catch them when they're next on anywhere - you will NOT be disappointed, they give 100% and certainly turn that amp up to 11!

An inspired choice to end this musically momentous weekend.

What a great show!
