Blogging gives everyone the chance to be heard.

You might write about a single issue (training for a marathon or current fashion trends for example) or perhaps you have lots of different ideas and want an outlet for them which gives you total editorial control.

This week's Ealing Blog (Eblog) features someone with a wealth of experience in the world of new media and a variety of thoughts.

(Residents and local politicians may be particularly interested in the entry Council Tax – what no refund? )

Mark Hillary is well known in Ealing as the organiser of a series of popular tweet-ups (meet ups for people who use the social network site twitter).

He has written several successful management books, is a regular contributor to computer and technology magazines and writes for Reuters and the Guardian.

He's a visiting lecturer on the MBA programme at London South Bank University and has lectured at many other universities including the LSE, Loughborough, and Henley Management College.

Present projects include a film about globalisation for the British Computer Society and a book for The Economist - oh and somehow he has managed to find space in his very busy diary to get married.

Congratulations Mark and Angelica!

If you live in, work in or blog about Ealing - or perhaps you have a favourite blog that you think should have a wider audience please contact editor@ealingtoday.co.uk and you - or they - could be featured.
