The third annual Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT) is going to be bigger, bolder and more immersive than ever!

Ealing’s largest art exhibition takes place over two consecutive weekends: 7–9th and 14–16th September 2018. There will be a choice of digital and printed maps of the Art Trail which are easy to follow in the search of art and artists of interest. Opening times will be in the brochure as well for each venue.

Exhibiting artists across the borough open their homes and studios to the public, giving an in depth and inclusive view of the artist and their art. The event is free for visitors.

The artist’s studio is an intensely personal space where the seeds of inspiration are developed into final works of art. It is a fascinating opportunity to gain an insight into this creative process. BEAT enables the public to see and buy some of the unique artwork created by local artists right on their doorstep.

BEAT 2017 was a great success with over 180 participating artists exhibiting their work in 61 venues across the Borough.

BEAT’s Chair, Kitty Hartnell, says, “There is a great mix of artists ranging from first time exhibitors to established artists who have exhibited internationally and in world renowned art institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts.”

The exhibition includes artists working in a broad range of media, including, but not limited to, painting, print, textiles, sculpture, glass, collage, mosaics, metal work, photography, digital arts, ceramics, jewellery and wood work.

Are you a local artist? If you are imterested in joining BEAT and taking part in this year's art trail?  Find out more here.
