A 50 year old man who was attacked outside The Shanakee pub in Ealing Broadway has died of his injuries.

Seamus Gill from Hanwell was taken to hospital in a critical condition after the incident in Haven Green on Sunday night, he died on Wednesday.

Two other men,a 21-year-old and a 24-year-old, were treated for minor injuries after the attack.

Police say they are keeping an open mind over the motive and are asking witnesses to come forward.

A 31-year-old man, of Ealing, appeared in Isleworth Crown Court yesterday charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. He will reappear on 16th December.
