Police Investigate Sex Assault in W7

Man helping with enquiries after incident reported

Police were called to Shakespeare Road in W7, in the early hours of Saturday morning, following reports of sexual assault.

Officers arrived on the scene and a man was arrested near to venue of the alleged assault.

The victim was a woman in her 40s.

A 43-year-old man is currently in custody at a west London police station.

Enquiries continue.

Officers from Sexual Offences, Exploitation & Child Abuse Command investigate.
