Detectives are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at Lloyds TSB in West Ealing.

Two men, armed with a firearm, entered the bank, pointed a gun at a female cashier and demanded cash from the front counter staff.

It is believed the men, who left empty handed, then fled on foot - direction unknown.

No shots were fired.

Police were called at approximately 3.30pm (Tuesday 16th March) to the branch on The Broadway.

Both suspects are described as black of a slim build and in their late teens.

Suspect (1) was wearing a builder's hard hat and a fluorescent yellow high visibility jacket.
He is described as 5'10" in height.

Suspect (2) was wearing smart/casual clothing and a Trilby style hat. He is described as 5'9"
in height.
