It's been announced the inquest into the death of Alice Gross will start at the Royal Courts of Justice next week.

Alice, 14, disappeared from her home in Hanwell in August 2014. Her body wasn't found until a month later.

Latvian builder Arnis Zalkalns is believed to have killed her in a sexually motivated attack and then dumped her body before killing himself.

Police said Zalkalns, who had murdered his wife in Latvia, would have been charged with Alice's murder had he been alive.

The inquest is expected to last seven days.
