Public Consultation For New Ealing High School

Ada Lovelace opens in September and in a permanent site in 2020

A planning application is being prepared for the development of a permanent school site on the former Barclays Playing Fields on Park View Road in W5.

The site will provide accommodation for the Ada Lovelace Cof E High School - a co-educational state secondary. It's initially due to open in the William Perkin C of E school in Greenford this September before it moves to its permanent home.

The school, which was originally approved by the Department for Education in 2014, will be part of Twyford Church of England Academies Trust. It will have a roll of about 1300, including 350 in the Sixth Form.

The Education and Skills Funding Agency, in partnership with Twyford CofE Academies Trust, have just announced details of their forthcoming public consultation on the emerging planning application proposals.

The purpose of the exhibition is to inform and seek the views of local residents, parents and community groups, ahead of submitting the planning application.

The public consultation is taking place at the Ealing Cricket Club, Corfton Road, Ealing, W5 2HS on the following dates:

• Tuesday 19th June 2018 from 3.30pm - 8pm
• Wednesday 20th June 2018 from 3.30pm - 8pm

Dame Alice Hudson, Executive Headteacher of Twyford CofE Academies Trust, said:
