A distraught mother is offering a reward after a thief stole her phone full of her baby son's photos during his christening at Ealing Abbey.

The opportunist thief was in the Abbey at the weekend when Adriana Stucki and family were attending the service for 9-month-old Sebastian.

She tells us: '' The suspect was seen hanging around the area immediately prior to my phone going missing. I checked under the pews and bench to see if it had fallen down, hoping it had just slipped under the bench.

''I have felt absolutely violated and sick to the stomach at my precious photos of my baby's first nine months being taken from me.

''It is not the loss of the phone that I care about, but the loss of my photographic and video memories. I can never replace those things, ever, and all because someone wanted to steal a phone that to them isn't worth much more than £20.

?''This has been deeply upsetting, specifically because it took place in a place of worship. I was supposed to be celebrating the welcoming of my child to the Catholic faith and instead I have been left feeling sick, vulnerable and deeply upset.''

Father Martin from Ealing Abbey said:

''The loss of the phone was reported to us and we are keeping a look out for it; sometimes things do turn up. Unfortunately, with a busy church with a lot of people moving through it, we are vulnerable to loss or theft of personal possessions, which can be extremely upsetting for those concerned.''

The phone (a HTC 620 Desire in a blue case) has been reported stolen.

Ms Stucki has used social media platforms to appeal for help and says if anyone has any information then they can contact her by email or phone -astuckihoffman@gmail.com (or 07754333142)
